Tell me about ret3p
Well, let me try to give you some knowledge about who I am, what I do, and a bit of my history.
Firstly, the name “ret3p” is a nickname I use online and has been one I’ve used for many years in mainly online games and other places. The name of course comes from my real name. It is pronounced “retep” and not “ret-three-p”.
My real name is Peter Olesen and I am a 30-year-old guy from Denmark.
I am a warehouse worker for a pretty big Danish company and when I’m not at work, I usually spend my time online or on the couch watching some TV show that I enjoy. I would be writing my all-time favorite, but there are just so many that it’s hard to choose just one.
Now, I originally started working for that Danish company as a “Warehouse and logistics management” apprentice. I finished my apprenticeship in late 2020 and now work for the company full time.
Before my apprenticeship, I worked different jobs and switched education a bunch of times. First I wanted a degree in web development, drop out. Then warehousing where I dropped out again. The dream was then IT support, but also this I dropped out of. Lastly, I settled on warehousing again and finally got my stuff together and got myself an education.
Now and the future
Right now I stream on a live streaming platform called Twitch. I also sometimes upload videos to my gaming channel on YouTube. Something I could be better at, but with a full-time job it’s pretty difficult to find the time for everything in your life.
When I find the time, I am also trying to get back into SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and affiliate marketing. This is something I’ve done in the past where I owned and operated a bunch of Danish affiliate marketing websites. Sites that I chose to shut down due to monetary issues in my life.
The plan is to start doing affiliate marketing again. While still working full time and also while streaming now and then. Perhaps someday I’ll be making enough money from my passions that I can “retire” and do it full time. For now, this little personal site is the only one I own and “operate”.
